Verify support through a domain or in-app channel you opened yourself. Real support never needs your seed phrase, token approval or account permissions.
What authentic support contact can establish
Public chain data lets impostors quote your transaction accurately. Identity must be verified through an official channel you reached independently, not knowledge of a hash. The free check uses public TRON data and, where blacklist status is relevant, calls isBlackListed on Tether’s official USDT TRC20 contract. It is a narrow technical observation, not a rating of a person.
TRON Blacklist Checker is independent from Tether and the TRON Foundation. A listed result means issuer freeze status for USDT; it is not an OFAC result or a court verdict, while a clear result never certifies safety.
Read the on-chain evidence narrowly
Start with the exact address or transaction shown in the final wallet confirmation, not a shortened copy from a chat. Record the full T-address, network, token, amount and timestamp so the evidence for authentic support contact can be reproduced.
Separate facts from inference. Contract state, hashes and permissions are observable; ownership, intent and identity usually are not. Recheck after any corrected address because the previous result does not transfer to a new string.
The blind spot that remains
Fresh scam infrastructure may have no report and no Tether freeze. That is why authentic support contact cannot be reduced to one green badge: rotation, impersonation and compromised accounts all produce apparently normal addresses.
A false isBlackListed response says only that Tether is not currently blocking USDT from that address. It says nothing about a malicious website, an unsafe approval, OFAC status, private exchange flags or whether the person contacting you is genuine.
A safer workflow before acting
Verify the destination through a source you opened independently, compare the complete address, and pause if urgency replaces evidence. For a payment, use a small test; for a signature, read the transaction type, token, spender and permission scope before approving anything related to authentic support contact.

When to stop and report
Stop when the address changes late, the sender refuses independent verification, a page asks for a seed phrase, or a wallet prompt grants more authority than the stated task requires. Preserve screenshots, hashes and the original conversation before accounts or messages disappear.
Confirmed TRC20 transfers cannot be reversed. Report quickly to a receiving exchange and the relevant authorities when funds have moved, but assume recovery is unlikely and reject anyone demanding an upfront fee to recover or unfreeze them.
